Disclaimer
Effective date: 1 September 2026 · Last updated: 1 September 2026
This Disclaimer explains the limits of the information, analytics, and AI-generated output provided by GeoSense AI, operated by GeoInsightAI. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.
1. General notice
The content and Output of the Service are provided for general informational and exploratory purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes a representation, warranty, guarantee, certification, endorsement, or professional opinion, and nothing creates any duty of care towards you or any third party in respect of decisions you make.
2. No professional advice
Output must not be interpreted as legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, insurance, real-estate valuation, appraisal, surveying, engineering, structural, environmental, planning, permitting, medical, security, or emergency advice. You should always consult appropriately qualified and licensed professionals, and obtain official records, surveys, and permits, before making decisions.
3. AI & model limitations
The Service uses large language models, heuristics, and statistical models. Their output is probabilistic and generated without human review. It may:
- be factually incorrect, fabricated, outdated, or internally inconsistent;
- reflect biases present in training data or in underlying geospatial datasets;
- express unwarranted confidence, including precise-looking numbers, scores, or percentages;
- vary between runs for the same input;
- omit material factors relevant to your decision.
We accept no responsibility for any AI-generated suggestion, recommendation, narrative, summary, ranking, or risk assessment.
4. Data accuracy, currency & coverage
Geospatial data is inherently incomplete and unevenly maintained. Points of interest may be missing, duplicated, closed, mis-categorised, or wrongly positioned; road networks, building footprints, land use, and administrative attributes may be outdated; coverage and quality differ significantly by country, city, and rural area. Population, demographic, footfall, and traffic figures are modelled estimates, not censuses. We do not independently verify, audit, or certify any dataset.
5. Third-party data, licences & attribution
The Service relies on third-party sources including OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), Google Maps Platform, HERE, Amadeus, Climatiq, and open public datasets. All trademarks belong to their respective owners; their inclusion does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement. You are responsible for complying with each provider's licence and attribution requirements when you export, publish, or redistribute anything derived from the Service.
6. Estimates, emissions, costs & scores
Distances, travel times, costs, fuel consumption, and CO₂e figures — including values aligned to the GLEC Framework or produced through emission-factor providers — are modelled estimates based on default assumptions such as vehicle class, load factor, fuel type, and network conditions. They are not measured, verified, assured, or audited emissions data and must not be used as-is for statutory or regulatory reporting, carbon offsetting, ESG disclosure, tax filings, or contractual settlement without independent verification by a qualified assurance provider. Suitability scores, risk flags, opportunity indices, and predictive-maintenance indications are relative heuristics, not predictions of actual outcomes.
7. Not for safety-critical or real-time use
The Service is not designed, tested, or licensed for use in navigation while driving, aviation, maritime navigation, emergency response, hazardous-materials handling, medical decision-making, law enforcement, military targeting, critical-infrastructure control, or any application where failure could lead to injury, death, environmental harm, or significant property damage. Digital Twin and IoT features are visualisation and analysis aids only and must never replace certified SCADA, alarm, or control systems.
8. Boundaries, borders & sensitive locations
Administrative boundaries, borders, place names, coastlines, and territorial designations shown in the Service originate from third-party data and are for illustrative purposes only. They do not represent any political position or legal determination of sovereignty, ownership, jurisdiction, cadastral limits, or property lines, and must not be used for boundary demarcation, land titling, or dispute resolution.
9. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for how you use the Service, for validating Output against authoritative sources, for the lawfulness of the data you upload or connect, and for compliance with all applicable laws — including data-protection, privacy, competition, anti-discrimination, aviation and drone, surveying, land-registry, and sanctions laws. You must not use the Service to target, profile, or surveil individuals, or to make automated decisions about people without lawful basis and human oversight.
10. External links, integrations & customer connections
The Service may link to or integrate with external websites, APIs, databases, and files that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, pricing, or practices. When you connect your own data sources or supply API keys, you do so at your own risk and remain responsible for credential security, quotas, and costs.
11. Forward-looking & illustrative material
Case studies, benchmarks, sample reports, screenshots, demonstration accounts, and marketing figures are illustrative, may use synthetic or anonymised data, and do not guarantee comparable results. Statements about future features or roadmap items are not commitments.
12. Exported reports & sharing
Reports, PDFs, spreadsheets, and shared links exported from the Service reflect data available at the time of generation and become outdated. If you distribute them, you are responsible for retaining this disclaimer and required attributions, for redacting confidential or personal information, and for controlling access to any share links you create.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GeoInsightAI and its operators, employees, contractors, partners, and licensors disclaim all liability for any loss or damage — direct or indirect, including loss of profit, data, or opportunity — arising from use of, reliance on, or inability to use the Service or its Output, from inaccurate or missing data, from third-party service failures, or from any unlawful or unethical use of the Service by any user. The liability limits and indemnities in our Terms & Conditions apply to this Disclaimer.
14. Reporting an issue
If you believe Output is materially inaccurate, infringes rights, or exposes personal data, contact legal@geoinsightai.com with details and we will review it in good faith. Reporting an issue does not create liability on our part or any obligation to modify the Service.
